Using BaseCamp

You may use this website for lawful, personal, informational purposes. When the app launches, you must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and be responsible for activity under your account. You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, scrape it at scale, attempt unauthorized access, or use it to violate the rights of others.

Crew content and conduct

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give BaseCamp permission to host, process, display, and transmit that content only as needed to operate the service. You must have the right to share anything you post, and you are responsible for interactions and information shared within your crew.

Availability, calls, and bookings

Resort descriptions, photos, availability, site details, prices, rules, and booking status can change. BaseCamp may search third-party reservation systems or contact resorts at your request, but a search result or call summary is not a guaranteed reservation. A booking is final only when confirmed by the resort or reservation provider. Resort terms, cancellation policies, and fees may apply.

BaseCamp AI is a coordination tool. You are responsible for reviewing site fit, dates, pricing, reservation details, road conditions, and resort rules before travel or payment.

Location and safety

Live location is optional and intended for coordination among trusted crew members. It is not an emergency, navigation, roadside assistance, or safety-monitoring service. Do not rely on BaseCamp for emergency help; contact local emergency services when needed. Use location features only with appropriate consent and attention to your surroundings.

Premium services and payments

Some features, including BaseCamp AI calling and booking coordination, are planned as premium features. Pricing and payment terms will be shown before purchase. App Store purchases will also be governed by Apple’s applicable terms.

Third-party services

BaseCamp may link to or interact with resorts, mapping services, reservation providers, and other third parties. We do not control their services or policies and are not responsible for their independent actions, availability, or content.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, BaseCamp is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted service or that resort, route, availability, call, or fit information will always be complete or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, BaseCamp will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from third-party resorts, reservation systems, travel conditions, user content, or reliance on availability information. Any additional limitations and applicable jurisdiction will be presented in the final in-app terms before launch.

Changes, suspension, and contact

We may change the service or these terms as BaseCamp develops. We may limit access when reasonably needed to protect users or the service. If a change materially affects app users, we will provide notice as appropriate. Questions can be sent to hello@basecampcrew.com.
